The production order for the B Tornado was aircraft. There were 3 XB, 96 BA, 10 BC, and 33 RBC recon variants built for a total of aircraft. Initial use of the B proved that it was a relatively poor bombing aircraft. The USAF wanted to deploy the B to the far east, but found that it had too short of range to reach.
